Looking for a way to keep your hand-eye coordination sharp?  Join us on Monday and Wednesday afternoons to play Ping Pong!  No experience is necessary.  All equipment to play will be provided.

Qigong / Tai Chi Club

Qigong is the study and practice or nurturing your own life force, how to accumulate, balance and coordinate the flow of energy (Qi) to maintain health and well-being.

Tai Chi is a complete system of therapeutic exercises.  Although it was originally developed as a martial art, it is performed slowly, softly, and continuously.

There is no formal instructor for this club, movements are participant led.

Sit and Stretch Class
Sit and Stretch Class

Class will start on Thursday 6/11

This class will nourish your body using proper breathing techniques, meditation and stretching.  These techniques will promote natural healing.  We will be using light weights for upper body strength training.  Class will mainly be a sit and stretch format.

Sit and Stretch going to be taught by Tatiana and her Flamingo Fit team.

This class will meet weekly for 45-mins of exercise.
Class starts at 11:15am.

Yoga for Strength
Yoga for Strength

Yoga for Strength begins using seated and flowing postures to warm the muscles.   We  use weights, bands, weighted balls and yoga blocks to build muscles in the upper body as well as  standing poses with the chair to build leg strength.  We end blissfully with meditation.

This Class is taught by Kim Tulloch.  There will be no class on Friday 7/3.

Zumba Gold
Zumba Gold

Zumba Gold class is a modification of traditional Zumba.  Zumba Gold is run at a lower intensity and introduces easy to follow dance moves that with focus on overall balance and coordination. 

 

Zumba is taught by Tatiana Segovia.
This class will meet weekly for 45-mins of exercise.
