This historic Hoyt G. Castleberry baseball/softball field was a part of the original Archer Lodge School previously located in the same location. The Hoyt G Castleberry field is very spacious and well-maintained field for any baseball/softball team looking for a place to practice or play. Located beside the Archer Lodge Community Center, the field dimensions are regulation size, dirt infield and the outfield is 200ft. The bases and pitcher’s mound are well-marked, and the outfield is enclosed with a fence for safety. The Hoyt G. Castleberry field also has dugouts for both teams, as well as batting cages and pitching machines available for use.
In addition to the field, we have a scoreboard, bleachers, and restroom facilities available for players and spectators.
