Beach Locker Description

  1. Storage lockers are designed to accommodate beach umbrellas, baby strollers, beach chairs, and/or belly boards. Locker dimensions are approximately 32 inches wide, 48 inches high and 48 inches deep. Seasonal rental is from the (Saturday prior to Memorial Day through September 15). Renters shall execute an agreement with the Borough as follows: to provide their own lock for security, hold the Borough harmless for any loss of stored items, and relinquish possession of the locker not later than September 15th. The Borough reserves the right to confiscate all items which are left in the locker which will become the property of the Borough. Existing renters shall have the first right to renew their storage lockers. Failure to renew by the deadline set each year will result in the rental being made available to the waiting list. The annual rental is due and payable at the time of agreement execution.
  2. New Annual rental fee schedule:

Belmar resident: $200.00

Non-Belmar resident: $250.00

Senior citizen, Belmar resident, 65 years of age or older: $150.00

Senior Non-Belmar resident, 65 years of age or older: $200.00

Proof of age such as a valid driver's license will be required for the senior discount.

The wait list is currently closed due to length of waiting time.

This program is for children and teens, ages 6-15, eager to learn about the ocean, beach, and lifeguarding skills while having fun. Since 1990, Belmar Junior Lifeguards has educated thousands of children and teens in foundational beach and ocean skills. They have become lifeguards, members of our armed forces, college graduates, tradesmen, and more. Our goal is to create the next generation of all-around watermen and water women.
 
Cost: $175 for Belmar, Lake Como and St. Rose students
Cost:  $195 for Non- Residents

Belmar Kids Running Club
Belmar Kids Running Club

Registration starts April 1st and ends June 21st.
Running Club is for boys and girls going into grades 2nd thru 6th for the 2026-2027 school year. Learn the basics of running and be part of the team while working on your individual self. This is a good opportunity for those children who might decide to run cross country in school to get ready for the upcoming season.

Cost: $55 in town Belmar/Lake Como

         $80 Out of town

Running club will meet once a week starting June 24th for 6 weeks at the Gazebo near 5th Ave. The Running Club will be every Wednesday.

Boys and Girls going into grades 2nd-6th for the 2026-2027 school year may sign up.

Fall Soccer is for boys and girls in grades K-4. Soccer is broken down into boys and girls divisions.  K-1 is co-ed. All of the other divisions are seperate. There is a 2nd-4th grade boys division and a 2nd-4th grade girls division. K-1 games are played at 9am on Saturdays. Girls 2nd-4th at 10am and boys 2nd-4th at 11am. 
SING-UPS START July 2nd
$55 For Belmar, Lake Como residents and St. Rose students.
$80 for out of town residents.


All home games are played at the 22nd Ave field in Lake Como for the 2nd through 4th grades, away games will be played in Manasquan.

The season will be six games (no games on July 4).   You are in the grade you are in as of MAY 2025. This means if you are currently an 8th grade boy or an 8th grade girl you can play in the summer league. All children in 2nd-4th grade will play on the lower baskets.

Registration begins April 1st and ends June 23rd

PROGRAM WILL START IN JULY 6th .

6 WEEK PROGRAM MEETS ONCE A WEEK

AGE GROUPS—6-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, and Adult tennis lessons 18 plus.

Classes will start on Monday July 6th. 

Ages 6-8 will meet at 8am.  Ages 9-11 will meet at 9am.  Ages 12-14 will meet at 10am.  Ages 15-17 at 11am. 

Some groups may have to be combined if numbers are low. If some groups become large, a second day will be added for that group. Each age group can take 6 per session. 

Adults will meet on Friday mornings at 9am and an Intermediate group at 10am

            

MAX OF 6 PER GROUP. GROUPS WILL MEET ONCE A WEEK.

SPOTS ARE VERY LIMITED PER AGE GROUP.

Kayak racks, designed to accommodate kayaks and stand up paddle boards (SUPs) are available in the Belmar Marina. Kayak rack space dimensions are approximately 34 inches wide and 22 inches high. Annual rental is available (January 1st to December 31st). Renters shall execute an agreement with the Borough as follows: to provide their own lock for security, hold the Borough harmless for any loss of stored items. Existing renters shall have the first right to renew their kayak rack until March 31; after this date rentals will be made available to the waiting list. The annual rental is due and payable at the time of agreement execution.

Marina Boat Slips

The Belmar Manutti Municipal Marina is one of the premier marinas along the Atlantic coast. Less than a half-mile from the ocean, floating concrete docks, full security and services, there is no better place to tie up your vessel. The marina has jet ski slips, boat slips up to 70’ and several t-heads that can accommodate vessels up to 120’. Seasonal (April 15th to December 14th) and annual rental is available. Existing renters shall have the first right to renew their slip until February 15; after this date rentals will be made available to the waiting list. The annual rental is due and payable at the time of agreement execution.
