The Cedar Grove Community Garden is the perfect place to dig in! Located at Morgan’s Farm, one of Cedar Grove’s historic properties, the garden offers residents a unique opportunity to enjoy nature, learn about gardening, and become part of a welcoming community.

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or trying it for the very first time, the community garden is a great hobby for all. It’s more than just gardening—it’s a chance to build friendships and take part in something special right here in town.

This year, the garden will be hosted by Amy Rehbein, who will help guide the program and support gardeners throughout the season.

Garden bed rentals are $100.00 for the 2026 season. Registration is now completed through our new online system. During registration, participants must review and accept the required waiver in order to qualify for a garden bed. Please note that physical leases will no longer be used and a trip Town Hall is not necessary. You will be assigned a designated bed # within two (2) business days of your online payment.

Join us this Spring for Panther Takedown Nights!

Wednesdays April 15-June 10 at Memorial Middle School 

This open mat clinic is designed for young wrestlers who want to continue developing their skills and techniques in a supportive environment. Participants will work with Rec Coaches as well as HS Varsity Wrestling Coaches and Wrestlers, on drills, fundamentals, and live wrestling to build confidence, improve technique, and stay active on the mat. Open to wrestlers looking to gain extra mat time and sharpen their abilities.

Cedar Grove Soccer Club’s Coach Maria and the CG Recreation Department have joined together to offer a Developmental Soccer Program. This program will be coached by instructors from CSF Soccer Academy and volunteer parents. It is an opportunity for kids to learn the sport of soccer while having FUN!

This eight-week course will introduce the students to acting, singing, and dancing and the world of musical theatre. They will focus on learning the terminology of the theatre, creating a character, vocalization, creative writing and choreography. For the acting segment of this class, we will focus on improvisation, as we free each actor of their inhibitions. Acting is important for children of all ages, as it strengthens their self-esteem. Please note that there are assignments that participants will have to complete at home. At the end of the 8-week course we will have a showing of the work we have accomplished.

Program will be coached by Cedar Grove Resident, John Borgese, who attended Villanova on a Track Scholarship, alongside his returning assistants, Eddie Bates & Michael Doster. Coach Borgese was a three time All-American, two-time national champion, and a member of a U.S. National Junior Track and Field team where he won a bronze medal in the 1982 Jr. Pan-American Games, a Penn Relay and a high school All-American. Participants of this program will train for various field events including; running, long jump and turbo javelin. The 4th-8th grade team will compete in meets with surrounding townships and parents are responsible for transportation of their child(ren) to all meets.

This 8-week gross/fine motor skills class for ages 2-4 with their care giver! Includes a series of warm ups, introduction of a movement theme, obstacle courses, etc... Kinetic Kidz is based on the four elements of; Body, Space, Time and Force. This class will mentor caregivers on how to incorporate more movement-based activities within their toddler’s days. (One care giver per child is required).
