The Special Olympics Developmental Basketball Program is designed for ALL youth ages 6-14.  This inclusive, non-competitive program will provide participants with and without intellectual/physical disabilities the chance to learn together.  Individuals of all abilities and skill levels are encouraged to register.  Athletes with wheelchairs are encouraged to participate.  Participants will learn and practice the fundamental skills of Basketball in a fun, friendly, supportive environment.  
The program is held 1x/week for 5 weeks starting Tuesday, July 14th, 6:00 - 7:00 pm on the basketball court at Town Place Park, 5400 Goodrich Rd.  
The program is FREE.

The program is held 1x/week for 5 weeks starting Thursday, July 16th, 6:00 - 7:00 pm on the bocce ball courts at The Senior Center, 4600 Thompson Rd. Clarence, NY 14031.
The program is FREE.

The Youth Bureau has two new clubs this summer to help youth engage with one another and learn new skills. One Club is Board Game Club, the other is Youth Comedy Club. Both clubs are FREE!

Board Game Club focuses on social engagement, critical thinking skills, inclusivity, and of course board games. Members will learn how to play a variety of youth board games (Battleship, Monopoly, Life, Trouble, Jenga, etc.) and will learn how to work together as a team or individually to win a game.

Youth Comedy Club focuses on social engagement, public speaking, improv, inclusivity, and of course jokes! Members will learn about improv, how to write jokes, social timing, and how to present their jokes for maximum laughter.

This Creative Family Programming initiative celebrates the vibrant art scene of Western New York by partnering with talented teaching artists and cultural partners. Its goal is to make diverse and enriching arts experience accessible to everyone. The programs presented are designed to ignite conversation about cultural heritage, race, and history, and are inclusive to all ages. Each event features hands-on workshops and/or performances, fostering creativity and dialogue. All programming will be offered free to the public in the Town of Clarence, ensuring every member of the community can participate and benefit.

Want to do a quick craft but don't want to commit to a date or time? Stop on by the Youth Bureau for Open Craft Time on Tuesday's & Thursday's throughout the summer! Each week will have a different theme so make sure to stop by at least once every week! Weekly themes will be posted on the Town of Clarence Youth Bureau Facebook page. No registration needed; Walk ins only. No age limit (parents & grandparents welcomed)! All supplies provided. 

If a parent/guardian would like to drop off their child, the child must be at least 6 years of age or older. Parent/guardian must leave contact information.

Come have a blast on the ultimate giant-sized water slide at our beautiful Main St. Town Park!  We will beat the heat with "cool" water games and a cold treat!  Wear your bathing suit or clothes that can get wet, bring a towel, and make sure to apply sunscreen before coming to the park. Future recruits will be learning how to use a decoder, dust/read for fingerprints, and finally break through a lock. All recruits will graduate training with a certificate, fingerprint dusting kit, and a spy gadget. This program is offered twice over the summer; BOTH sessions are offered in July. Attention all magic trick fanatics! Are you interested in learning some of the most famous magic tricks? Do you like to put on theatrical performances? Well, join us at the Youth Bureau where we have a magician teaching how to put on the best performance. Future magicians will be learning how to do the three cups/balls trick, the coin trick, a card trick, and finally learn how to present each trick. All magicians will bring home three cups/balls, a deck of cards, and a big coin. This program is offered twice over the summer; one session is in July, one session in August.
