Intro to Fly Tying
Intro to Fly Tying
Fly Tying and Fly Fishing is enduring and enchanting. It is a hobby that will bring a deeper appreciation of the great outdoors and desire to keep our environment as good as or even better than our Forefathers left it for us! In this 8-session class, you will learn flys to tie such as: streamers, nymphs, wets, drys, terrestrials, caddis, leaches and deer hair flys. The first session covers tying materials, tools needed, safety and hands-on instruction on tying the knots used in fly tying. Students must have their own tying tools by the second class. By the end of session 8, each student should have all the skills needed to embarkon a life-long hobby of fly tying in addition to the 70 flys tied during the class.

All students will receive several instructional handouts and enough materials to tie 70 flys.

Face mask may be required. Hand sanitizer available.

STRONG Nation™
STRONG Nation™
Stop counting the reps. Start training to the beat. STRONG Nation™ combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. Every squat, every lunge, every burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more. In each class you’ll burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing. STRONG Nation™ instructors change up the music and moves frequently to make sure you’re always challenged to the max. The instructor will show modifications for all levels; this class can be done by beginners or it can challenge even the most conditioned athlete. STRONG Nation™ class is a hour-long session that works your entire body. It’s ideal for hitting your ultimate fitness goals — and then making new ones. Come prepared with the following: cross-trainer sneakers, floor mat, gloves (optional for floor exercises), towel and water bottle.
