Timeless Trekkers

The Timeless Trekkers program is designed for those looking to walk and talk but cover a decent distance on the trails. These walks will last for about 90 minutes and will range in mileage averaging around 2-3 miles. This fast-pace guided walk will also observe the local flora and fauna, learn about general and basic trail orientation, and learn about the specific park/preserve history. The Timeless Trekkers will meet every other Tuesday afternoon at 1:00PM at a new park location.

Register once, come as many or as few times as you would like!

This walking program is geared for seniors aged 55+ looking to explore the parks in Clifton Park while exploring with a guided group but all adult ages are welcome! The Wise Wanderers program is designed for those looking to walk at a slower pace while talking and observing the local flora and fauna and the park. These walks will last for about 90 minutes and will range in mileage averaging about 1.5 miles. This slower-pace guided walk will make frequent stops to learn information and knowledge pertaining to the park. The Wise Wanderers will meet every other Wednesday morning at 9:00AM at a new park location.

Register once, come as many or as few times as you would like!

View nature in a new light and discover the beauty of nature illuminated by moonlight, as we explore Clifton Park trails and preserves under the full moon. Enjoy peaceful trails and a unique perspective on the wilderness after dark. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or new to nighttime adventures, these walks promise beautiful moments in nature. Don’t miss out – immerse yourself in the magic of the full moon with us!
 
Each walk will be of easy to moderate difficulty, child friendly, and will last approximately 45 minutes.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear sturdy shoes/boots, and bring flashlights or headlamps.
Free, but pre-registration is required. Event may be cancelled in poor weather.
All walks will take place at Garnsey Park, 1481 NY-146, just east of Nott Road & Wing Road

Come explore Clifton Park’s Open Spaces! 
A nice morning out for young children and parents/
caregivers who are looking to get outdoors this spring. Each 
hike will last approximately one hour. Some of the walks will 
be “jogging-stroller friendly,” but a child backpack or front 
carrier is strongly recommended, depending upon the age 
of the child participants. Please dress appropriately for 
trail conditions. Hike may be canceled
Parent/adult participation required.
Free, but advance registration required.
