Witches Ride
Witches Ride
Join us for the 2025 Witches Ride around Doylestown Borough on 10/25 at 10:15am!

You must be 18 or older to ride. Every rider must be registered and sign the waiver. All riders must check-in to ride this year. All proceeds from the witches ride will go to Bike Doylestown/Doylestown Pump Track rebuild! Registration is not refundable.

THE RIDE
This is a slow, 5-ish mile ride through town on open streets with car traffic. We do many stops and starts. You should be a confident bike rider to enjoy the ride safely!

Riders must follow the rules of the road: respect stop signs and traffic signals, stay to the right, take extra care when stopping and starting. Be aware of and communicate with riders around you!

Do not toss candy or anything else from your bike.

Pedal-assist e-bikes are allowed, but no throttles. We ask that e-bikes stay toward the back of the ride and take extra care starting and stopping.

COSTUMES/DECORATIONS
Be sure to securely attach your witch hat to your helmet or under your chin with an elastic strap or tie. It is guaranteed to fall off otherwise!

Do NOT put a broomstick on your bike. Your bike IS your broom! Make sure nothing will be caught in your wheels or drivetrain.

Please test-run your costumes on your bike BEFORE the ride. Your neighbors will enjoy this and you’ll see what safely works or not before riding in the group.

PARKING/INFO
Broad Commons Park and Borough Hall are at 10 Doyle Street in Doylestown, PA. Park at the Bucks County Parking Garage at Doyle and Broad streets for a small fee (or just ride your bike!) There is limited on-street parking nearby.

Bathrooms will be available at Borough Hall.

The ride route and any updates will be emailed to you shortly before the ride. Again, registration is required. If the fee is prohibitive, please email ewyckoff@doylestownborough.net for accommodation.

The ride will only be cancelled if the Spooktacular is cancelled. If a rain date is needed, we’ll ride then!

Let’s ride, witches!
