For weddings, receptions, family get-togethers or community and civic events, the Sports Arena is hard to beat. The recently renovated building includes a large gathering space and kitchen facilities including two refrigerators, two gas stoves, and an ice maker.

The Historic Farmville Train Station offers the perfect setting for small weddings, receptions, family get-togethers or holiday events. The historically restored building includes three rooms with a small kitchen with refrigerator, two stoves and two microwaves. There are four restrooms located inside. Wireless internet is also available.

Wilck's Lake Island is a favorite for outdoor weddings or receptions, company picnics or family gatherings, includes a pavilion, picnic tables, restrooms, spacious play areas and adequate parking. Fishing is permitted on the island with reservations (swimming is not permitted).
