Teen Counselor positions for the Farmville Summer Day program.

Youth interested in serving as Teen Counselors must be at least 16 years old by January 1st. to be eligible to apply and must be available to attend scheduled training sessions. An application for the position must be submitted with your registration.

The Summer Day Camp program runs seven to eight weeks each year and consists of field trips, physical activity, learning experiences, and socialization opportunities. Potential Counselors will participate in training sessions and then participate in an interview process to be selected for summer employment. All participants can assist with Parks and Recreation programming throughout the calendar year.  Only 6 counselors will be selected for the summer camp.  If selected, you will be provided with counselor shirts to wear each day.
