Join us for BINGO!

Kickoff the holiday season with an afternoon of BINGO. We are hosting our first ever Senior Holiday Bingo event. All seniors and their families are invited to sing Christmas carols, dance, eat, socialize, and play BINGO! Come try your luck and see if you'll win something under the Christmas Tree.

Register below to reserve your spot. The first 10 people to register will enter a special drawing for a super holiday prize.

Think Like A Man: A discussion on Manhood

The struggles of being a male are unique and complex, but awareness and support are essential to tackling these challenges successfully. Our "Think Like A Man" community forum will be led by male licensed professional counselors who will share their personal and professional commentary on today's man in today's society. You will also hear from community ambassadors as they share what they are doing to help support boys and men through the journey of manhood.

This is a semi-formal event and food will be provided. Though this discussion is centered on men, all are welcome!

Your Mind, Your Business: A discussion on being a woman

Societal expectations, gender roles, and biology are just a few areas where women struggle. These challenges can cause strain on female physical and mental health. Our Your Mind, Your Business community forum will center on women's mental health and wellness and ways to take control of your mind, body, and spirit. We will have female licensed professional counselors who will lead the conversation and share their professional and personal perspectives on women's mental health in today's society. This is a great event for every woman.

Halloween Parade
Halloween Parade

Local businesses are invited to participate in the Farmville Halloween Parade by setting up along Main Street to hand out candy to trick-or-treaters and families. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the community, showcase your business, and be a part of this fun-filled event.

  1. Eligibility: Open to all local businesses in Farmville and surrounding areas.
  2. Registration Deadline: October 29, 2025
  3. Event Date: October 31, 2025
  4. Location: Main Street, Farmville – businesses will be assigned specific spots to set up.
  5. What’s Included: Businesses will be provided with a designated space to set up and distribute candy. Participants should bring their own candy and any additional decorations or branding materials to engage with the crowd. Please mark if you need a table to be provided by FPR.

 

The Farmville Halloween Parade is a fun and festive community event that brings together local businesses, families, and trick-or-treaters for a spooktacular celebration!

  • Time: The event takes place along Main Street from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, where local businesses line the street, handing out candy to trick-or-treaters from Farmville and surrounding counties.

  • Costume Contest: Hosted by the Farmville Downtown Partnership, this exciting contest invites children and families to show off their creative costumes, with prizes awarded to the best-dressed participants.

  • Spooktacular Storefront Contest: Local businesses will decorate their storefronts in the Halloween spirit, and trick-or-treaters will have the chance to vote for their favorite displays. The business with the most votes will earn the title of the Best Spooktacular Storefront.

This annual event is a favorite for families, offering a safe and fun atmosphere to enjoy Halloween traditions while supporting local businesses and the community.
