Join the Middletown Recreation Team & Garden Lover's Club of Middletown on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 from 10a-12p at Fancher-Davidge Park's Lions Pavilion for our Fairy House Workshop & Story Time! Light supplies will be provided but most of the house is built out of products we will find on our nature walk! Story Time with Miss Sharon is also a part of our event! 

PARENT/GUARDIAN MUST ACCOMPANY CHILD IF UNDER THE AGE OF 16 YEARS OLD.

"Catch the spirit and take a kid fishing!"

Come celebrate the "National Take a Kid Fishing" Program for youth 5 to 15 years old, accompanied by an adult on Saturday, June 10th, 2022 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM! You must pre-register for this event. Event is rain or shine. 

Annual Fishing Derby hosts: Middletown Lions Club & Middletown Recreation & Parks Department

Lions Shelter at Fancher-Davidge Park 

Derby Rules: All fishing on catch and release format. Bring your own poles, bait & tackle boxes. Only worms allowed for bait. No lures. Children must be accompanied by an adult; adults are not allowed to fish for kids. All NYS Fishing Regulations must be obeyed. 

*Please bring your own chair.*

Four Age Categories [5-7; 8-9; 10-12; & 13-15] 26 trophies, including "Angler of the Year" & "Lunker Award" for largest fish.

Prizes: Rod & reel sets, tackle boxes, fishing line and much more!

Registration Deadline: Thursday June 8th, 2023  by 4:00PM

This is a drop-off event.

Parents/guardians please check in and drop off students at gymnasium building. 
Pick-up will be at 12:00pm from our back field location.
