Registration Opens June 1st.
The 2024 program will be at the Recreation Center on Monday-Friday. On occasion camp may be moved to Sherrillbrook Park for the day. Field trips will be on Thursdays. Field trips will begin the second week of camp (Thursday, July 18th.) Field trip drop-offs on Thursdays will be at the Recreation Center.
Cost: $500 (no discounts)
* Only children who are residents of New Hartford and have just completed grades K - 6 will be eligible to participate in the 2024 program.
* Parents are required to sign their child in and out every day.
* A parent letter will be provided at the start of camp to better inform all parents or guardians of program policies and the rationale behind them
* The playground program will continue to offer young children in the community an excellent opportunity to take part in a variety of summer activities.
* Please be sure you pay the fee with your online registration, to help ensure your child's enrollment in the summer program
* Please pay special attention to the dates, age requirements, fees, location, and registration procedures as you make your summer program plans.
* Daily attendance is not a requirement of this program, and participants will have the option of signing up for the daily sponsored activities of their choice. However, the participant's parents or specified guardian must sign the child in and out, to enter or leave the program site, in order to remain in the program. A violation of this policy shall result in dismissal from the program.
* The summer playground program is not intended to be a day care or day camp program.
* Local elementary schools will be contacted to confirm your child's enrollment and grade completed
* Parents are asked to bring a white t-shirt for your child the first day as they will be tie-dying them to wear for field trips. Shirts will be tie-dyed the first week of camp only. Children will be required to wear their shirt each trip.

Field Trips announcements, sign ups and associated fees will be announced at a later date.
REGISTRATION FOR ALL FIELD TRIPS CLOSES once all trips are filled or no later than the Friday before the trip - NO EXCEPTIONS
