Newport Basketball Summer League 2026

Calling all hoop stars! The Newport Basketball Summer League is back, offering youth athletes ages 8–14 an exciting opportunity to play this summer. Whether you’re from Newport or the surrounding areas, everyone is welcome.

Registration Details

• Ages: 8–14
  (Divisions: 10U, 12U, 14U)

• Cost: $35 per player in Newport; $45 per player for non-residents

• Requirement: Birth certificate upload during registration

• Note: No practices will be held for the duration of the 4-week basketball season – all play occurs during scheduled games

Important Dates

Assessments (required for all players):
Monday, June 22, 2026

• 10U – 5:30 PM

• 12U – 6:30 PM

• 14U – 7:30 PM
  (Please arrive 15 minutes early)

Game Schedule

• Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (teams play two of the three nights)

• Times:

  • 6:00 PM – 10U

  • 7:00 PM – 12U

  • 8:00 PM – 14U

Season Dates:

• First Game: June 29, 2026

• Last Game: July 21, 2026

• End-of-Season Tournament: July 23, 2026

Volunteers Needed

We are looking for coaches and scorekeepers to help make this season a success. No experience required.
