The Newport Community Building, located at 270 Howard Blvd, offers an open space with optional seating, including 44 chairs and 5 tables. The maximum capacity for the building is 49 people. Restrooms are available on-site. Please note, tape is not allowed on the walls or floors.

After completing the online reservation, you must pay a separate refundable $100 cleaning/damage deposit. Bring a check in the amount of $100 payable to the Town of Newport to Town Hall. Your reservation is not complete until your deposit has been paid. This fee is refundable after inspection of the facility and equipment by a town employee. 

Civic and non-profits organizations should reach out to letsplay@newportnc.gov to make a reservation to use the Community Building. 

All reservations can be made up to 3 months in advance. The Town of Newport reserves the right to cancel any reservation. A refund will be issue for a cancellation initiated by the Town of Newport. 

The large pavilion, located at 260 Howard Blvd, offers approximately 5,200 sq. ft. of space, making it ideal for events with 500 or more guests, whether standing or seated. It's a versatile venue perfect for wedding receptions, small concerts, or large company gatherings.

The Town provides essential amenities such as electricity, trash and recycling cans, and picnic tables for your convenience. The pavilion is also equipped with automatic LED lighting. In some cases, it may be possible to reserve only part of the facility while other visitors enjoy a different section.

Public restrooms are available in the smaller pavilion. Charcoal grills are allowed on the grass, but all coals must be fully extinguished, and ash must be removed from the park—no dumping is permitted. Parking on the grass is not permitted except for loading and unloading. Overflow parking is available across the street at 213 Howard Blvd.

The small pavilion, located at 240 Howard Blvd, offers a covered space of approximately 100 sq. ft. (30' wide by 35' deep) and can comfortably accommodate 40 to 60 people.

Amenities include public restrooms, picnic tables, and trash and recycling bins. Please note that the public restrooms are available for all park visitors. Charcoal grills are allowed on the grass, but all coals must be fully extinguished, and ash must be removed from the park—no dumping is permitted.

Parking on the grass is not allowed, except for loading and unloading supplies. Overflow parking is available across the street at 213 Howard Blvd.
