Facilities
Our field sessions will take place at Bill Henfey Park, which is located on 8th Street between Atlantic & Central Avenues in North Wildwood. Lunch will be held at the North Wildwood Recreation Center, which is located 1 block from the field at 900 Central Avenue in North Wildwood.

WeatherNorth Wildwood Soccer Camp is not responsible for severe weather. We will not have indoor sessions but will do our best to get all sessions completed. Due to weather or extreme heat, some sessions may be shortened or canceled. In the event of inclement weather, parents should first look to pick up their children at Bill Henfey Park, then proceed to the North Wildwood Recreation Center.
Registration Information
Registration WILL CLOSE on the Monday (6/10 & 7/1) before the start of camp or earlier if camp is FULL. Check social media for updates or call the Recreation Department.
No refunds will be issued if you fail to notify us of a cancellation 48 hours before the first day of camp.
What to Bring
- Shin guards, soccer socks, cleats, camp ball & water bottle (cold water & injury ice will be available at the fields)
- Flip-flops or sneakers to wear at lunch time
- An insulated lunch bag or box with lunch, drink & snacks
- Sunscreen & Towel
- Change of Clothes (Parents please make sure your campers are dressed for the weather.)

Camp Director
Steve DeHorsey brings over 30 years of coaching experience at various levels, running and working camps/clinics. Coach DeHorsey lead the Wildwood High Boys Soccer Program for 18 seasons. During those 18 seasons, Coach DeHorsey accumulated over 100 wins and his teams set numerous program records. While coaching Wildwood, the Warriors have had 7 All State Players, 3 All South Jersey Players, and over 70 All Conference Players. Steve held the record as the All-Time leading goal scorer in the history of Wildwood Boys Soccer for over 20 years before coaching both the girls (Jen Fetsick) & boys (Tyler Tomlin) current scoring record holders. DeHorsey was a 4-year starter at Catawba College (Salisbury, NC) where he led the Indians to 3 consecutive Conference Championships and the schools highest National Ranking of #6 in NCAA Division II. He received All Conference, All Region & All American Honors before playing professionally in North Carolina. He holds a USSF "F" Coaching License and a NSCAA Advanced Regional Coaching Diploma. Steve is also certified in CPR & First Aid.
Coaching Staff
Our coaching staff will consist of qualified coaches and accomplished professional, collegiate, high school players from around the east coast area. Our staff has a love of the game and a passion to influence our future players. Our camper to staff ratio will be approximately 10:1
Closing Ceremony
On Friday parents are encouraged to watch the afternoon sessions starting at 2:00pm (11:00am for Half Day). We will be reviewing our weekly sessions and ending with short sided games. Camp will end approximately 2:40pm (11:40am for Half Day), followed by our closing ceremony. All campers will receive a camp certificate and some campers will receive individual prizes and awards.
