Start your journey into beekeeping! This comprehensive beginner course provides all the essential tools and information you need to successfully set up and maintain your own bee hives. We’ll cover everything from initial costs, maintenance schedules, and best practices for site preparation and hive placement, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable introduction to beekeeping. The course includes six informative classes along with two hands-on workshops in the spring, designed to give you practical experience and build confidence in hive management. The registration fee covers all six classes and the two spring workshops.  Join us and discover the art and science of beekeeping right here on the North Fork!

The workshop dates will be determined in the spring when the hives get active.

From there, our instructor will help enhance your skills. Long Island has become Line Dancing Island – so come on and join the party! Line Dancing is a whole body workout, doesn’t require a partner, and it’s lots of fun.

This 5-week Program will cover beginner and intermediate dances. Beginners will learn basic steps, and dance terminology. Intermediates will get a refresher on the beginner dances and sharpen their skills on the more advanced dances.  No experience is necessary.  A list of dances will be provided at the first class. Dances will be reviewed each week. It's an evening of dancing fun!

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that provide support. No sandals, flipflops, or high heels please. You will get a workout. Bring a bottle of water with you to stay hydrated.

Embrace the new year with a class designed to nurture both body and mind. In Write Flow, we begin each session with 25 minutes of Qi Gong, a mindful movement practice that calms the mind and grounds the body. Follow this with 20 minutes of guided journaling, where you’ll explore your thoughts, set meaningful intentions, and turn your dreams into actionable steps.

This series offers a gentle yet powerful approach to self-care, helping you cultivate mindfulness, enhance creativity, and build healthy habits for the year ahead. All levels are welcome—come as you are, ready to breathe, move, and reflect on your journey.
