There is no charge for this program but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.  If a group of kids are attending, all participants must be registered individually to join the event.  If you are not registered for this program, you will be turned away at the door.

This program is a financial literacy course covering the ins and outs of establishing your first food truck business!  Lessons are designed with grades 6-8 in mind, but please reach out to heatherh@southoldtownny.gov if you have a student interested in a different grade.

Students select a food truck theme, design menus, estimate expenses, determine prices and develop financial projections. Develop a business plan with a marketing strategy, capital-raising needs and more. This unique program offers a tasty way to develop business savvy!

Students will have an opportunity to meet a local food truck vendor, ask questions and then have lunch!
