Join the 250th 4th of July parade with the Town of Southold Youth Bureau!

Each registrant will receive a FREE decorating kit for their bike or scooter.  MOTORIZED BIKES/E-BIKES AND MOTORIZED SCOOTERS ARE PROHIBITED.

Parents are encouraged to walk along with their kids!  Ages 5 and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult/guardian.

Decoration kits can be picked up at the Youth Bureau office located within the Town of Southold Recreation Center at 970 Peconic Lane OR arrangements can be made to drop off kits at local schools.  The kits will be ready before the end of June but you will receive communication when they are ready!

Please arrive early to the parade and line up on Maple Lane across from the Firehouse.

The Town of Southold Youth Bureau is now happily accepting donations to help our students throughout the school year!

Please consider bringing any donations to the donation bins at the following locations:

  • Southold Town Hall (Map)
  • Youth Bureau office in the Recreation Center (Map)

See below for a list of the most requested items:

*Snacks are very welcome for all grade levels - shelf stable bulk snacks such as pretzels, granola bars, etc.*

Elementary School Supplies:

  • Crayons
  • Markers
  • Kid Scissors
  • Pencils
  • Snacks (Think bulk shelf stable snack bags like pretzels/granola bars)

Middle School/High School Supplies:

  • Black Leggings (all sizes)
  • Small boxes of sanitary pads/tampons
  • Travel-sized deodorant
  • Folders
  • Sharpened pencils
  • Packs of pens
  • Binder paper
  • Ring notebooks
  • Index cards
  • High quality backpacks
  • Snacks (Think bulk shelf stable snack bags like pretzels/granola bars)
