This four-session course is for resident youths ages 10 to 17. Pre-registration is required by March 6. Upon successful completion of the course a USCG certificate will be issued enabling participants to legally operate a motorboat on their own. It satisfies the requirements of New York State law for boat operators and also enables youth 14-17 to legally operate a personal watercraft on their own. Participants must attend all 4 sessions in order to receive the state certification.
