Qigong is the study and practice or nurturing your own life force, how to accumulate, balance and coordinate the flow of energy (Qi) to maintain health and well-being.

Tai Chi is a complete system of therapeutic exercises.  Although it was originally developed as a martial art, it is performed slowly, softly, and continuously.

There is no formal instructor for this club, movements are participant led.

A new group has just been formed to learn to play this very popular board game.  Stop in to watch - it's easy and fun.  Come and join us!

Looking to improve your overall strength?  Take part in the strength training class where we'll explore different exercises to strengthen muscles for the whole body using a combination of weights, bands, and weighted balls.  Class aims to improve strength and balance.

Strength Training will be taught by Cara Nelson.

Welcome back to summer camp! Thank you all for your patience as we worked through the lottery and subsequent waitlists.  The good news is that after all the calls were made we have open spots left for summer camp.  If you have an interest in registering please see some friendly reminders below:

Summer Adventures Camp 2025

Week 1: June 30 – July 3 (No camp on Fri, 7/4) Cost: $195

Week 2: July 7 – July 11 Cost: $245

Week 3: July 14 – July 18 Cost: $245

Week 5: July 28 – August 1 Cost: $245

Week 6: August 4 – 8 Cost: $245

Camp is open to Aberdeen residents' only.  Children who are entering first grade in the fall through entering ninth grade in the fall. If you go to the Matawan-Aberdeen School District, but do not specifically live in Aberdeen Township (Aberdeen, Cliffwood or Cliffwood Beach) then you are not eligible to attend camp.

Camp will be Parent/Guardian drop off/pick up only and is held at the Matawan Aberdeen Middle School as well as Guisti Park for some of our outdoor camp activities.  More details will be sent prior to the start of camp.

Trip information can be found by clicking the INFO button for each each week.  Other activities, shows, and vendors are planned for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays such as tie dying, Christmas in July, candy bar bingo, egg drop, relay races, theme days, kickball, arts and crafts, bracelet making, Rolling Video Game, Rizzo Wildlife Show, Clydesdale Horses, Magic Show, Science Show, Water Days, as well as and even more surprises! 

**Please note:  All planned activities are subject to change based on weather or conflict of schedules.  Camp registration fee includes all travel, activities, trip tickets, and rentals.  Prior to the start of camp, a weekly schedule of events will be provided.
