The Johnston County Little League in partnership with the Town of Archer Lodge will offer Little League Spring baseball, softball and tee ball for youth ages 4- 12. The Little League program is a youth sports organization that focuses on providing children with the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of baseball in a structured and supportive environment.
The program aims to teach the fundamental skills of baseball, including hitting, throwing, fielding, and base running. It also emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play, fostering positive values and character development among the participants.
The program is typically organized into divisions based on age groups, allowing children to compete against others of similar abilities and developmental stages. Teams are usually coached by parent volunteers or dedicated community members who promote skill development, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. League will consist of Tee ball (4-6) Machine Pitch (7-8) and player pitch (9-12).
