Join the Youth Bureau at the Main St Park large pavilion for nature walks!  Participants will explore the park and find a rock, leaf, flower, etc.; they like to take back to the pavilion to use as inspiration for their craft (e.g. pressed flower ornaments, make your own animal, painting with nature, etc.)! Each Monday will be a different nature themed craft!   No registration needed; walk ins only.  No age limits (parents & grandparents welcomed)!  All supplies will be provided.

Want to do a quick craft but don't want to commit to a date or time? Stop on by the Youth Bureau for Open Craft Time on Tuesday's & Thursday's throughout the summer! Each week will have a different theme so make sure to stop by at least once every week! Weekly themes will be posted on the Town of Clarence Youth Bureau Facebook page. No registration needed; Walk ins only. No age limit (parents & grandparents welcomed)! All supplies provided. 

If a parent/guardian would like to drop off their child, the child must be at least 6 years of age or older. Parent/guardian must leave contact information.

Ever dream of building your own rocket?  Join us at the Nature Center where we will create, customize, and launch rockets!  Participants will create their rocket at the Nature Center then walk through a trail to get to the Thompson Rd baseball diamonds for launch.  Parents are welcome to come early watch the rocket launch (launch will be from 11:30am - 12pm)! This program is offered twice over the summer, one session is in July and one session is in August. Both sessions are the exact same. ALL SUPPLIES PROVIDED

Come have a blast on the ultimate giant-sized water slide at our beautiful Main St. Town Park!  We will beat the heat with "cool" water games and a cold treat!  Wear your bathing suit or clothes that can get wet, bring a towel and make sure to apply sunscreen before coming to the park.

The Special Olympics Developmental Basketball Program is designed for ALL youth ages 6-14.  This inclusive, non-competitive program will provide participants with and without intellectual/physical disabilities the chance to learn together.  Individuals of all abilities and skill levels are encouraged to register.  Athletes with wheel chairs are encouraged to participate.  Participants will learn and practice the fundamental skills of Basketball in a fun, friendly, supportive environment.  
The program is held 1x/week for 6 weeks starting Thursday, July 10th,  6:00 - 7:00 pm on the basketball court at Town Place Park, 5400 Goodrich Rd.  
The program is FREE.
There is paperwork required by Special Olympics.  Once registered, we will email it to you.

The Special Olympics Developmental Soccer Program is designed for ALL youth ages 6-14.  This inclusive, non-competitive program will provide participants with and without intellectual/physical disabilities the chance to learn together.  Individuals of all abilities and skill levels are encouraged to register.  Participants will learn and practice the fundamental skills of Soccer in a fun, friendly, supportive environment.  
The program is held 1x/week for 6 weeks starting Tuesday, July 8th,  6:00 - 7:00 pm on the soccer field at Town Place Park, 5400 Goodrich Rd. Rd.  
The program is FREE.
There is paperwork required by Special Olympics.  Once registered, we will email it to you.

Both the Recreation and Youth Bureau Programs for Summer 2025 will be viewable as of May 14th at 9:00 am. Open Registration will begin on May 19th at 9:00 am. Please note when registering that falsifying information such as age, residency, etc.  may result in removal from program without refund.
