3 on 3 Basketball

This is a great opportunity to play basketball, have fun and stay fit this summer playing a game we all love. We urge all players to bring plenty of bottled water. All players will receive a reversible tank for game play.   

Locations:  Gille Park                 Fee: $15.00 per player

Divisions: Elementary: Grades 3-5 Middle: Grade 6-8 High School: Grade 9-12       Adult: 18 and Over

Weeknights starting July 21st 5:15, 6:00, 6:45, 7:30 game times

Open to 5 to 7 year olds. This trip is open to all three parks. We will be leaving the parks at 10am and returning at 1pm. Campers will eat lunch upon returning to the park. Campers will get an interactive farm experience with many kinds of animals!

In an effort to provide a service for parents looking to make an early start to their day we are offering a before care for our Summer in the Parks Program. Each child must be registered for Summer in the Parks. Parents may drop off their children at their registered park site beginning at 7:45am.

Bicycle Safety Skill Courses with Coach Support-All Ages and Skill Levels
Fire Safety Demonstrations
K-9 Unit Demonstrations
Child Car Seat Installation/Inspections Service by Certified Technician Officers
Bring your own Child Car Seats / Car Seats NOT Provided
Local Vendors and Food Trucks will be joining in on the fun

**Tickets will be given to Students who attend a Designated Safety Class prior to the Event**

A Bicycle and Bicycle Approved Helmet
A Completed Registration Form (3-pages), if not already submitted
Signed by the Participant and a Parent/Guardian.

Couch to 5k

Get off the couch and get running this summer with Lacey Rec and the Municipal Alliance. Our Couch to 5K program is designed to help you cross the finish line at the Lacey 5K. There will be weekly group training runs/walks, motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition and avoiding injury- plus, you'll have the camaraderie of others just like you!

Location: Gille Park Pavilion Mondays at 7pm starting June 23

Coached by: Brandy Rapatski, Patty Naden, Robin Gialanella, Jean Sullivan, Bethanie Bradley

Fee: $35 includes your registration into the Lacey 5K Race Day is Saturday, August 23 2025

Focus on Fitness

Open to 7 years old and up. This trip is open to all three parks. We will be leaving the parks at 10am and will be returning around 12:15pm. Kids will get to enjoy a world full of insects and learn more about each little creature! 

Open to 5 to 7 year olds. This trip is open to all three parks. We will be leaving the parks at 11am and returning at 2:45pm. Campers attending this trip will eat lunch before boarding the bus. Campers will get a real life experience on a pirate ship!
