In an effort to provide a service for parents looking to make an early start to their day we are offering a before care for our Summer in the Parks Program. Each child must be registered for Summer in the Parks. Parents may drop off their children at their registered park site beginning at 7:45am.

Get off the couch and get running this summer with Lacey Rec and the Municipal Alliance. Our Couch to 5K program is designed to help you cross the finish line at the Lacey 5K. There will be weekly group training runs/walks, motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition and avoiding injury- plus, you'll have the camaraderie of others just like you!

Location: Gille Park Pavilion Mondays at 7pm starting June 29

Fee: $35 includes your registration into the Lacey 5K Race Day is Saturday, August 22 2026

The trip departs from your child's park at 9:30am and will arrive back at 3pm. Trip includes Chicken Tenders and Fries

Open to 8 years old and up. This trip is open to all three parks. We will be leaving the parks at 11:30am and returning around 3:30pm. The return time will be slightly later than a normal camp day. Campers will eat lunch before they board the bus. Campers will enjoy an afternoon of outdoor laser tag.

FRIDAY TRIP: Open to 7 years and up. This trip is open to all three parks. We will be leaving Gille Park's Skate Park/Roller Hockey rink parking lot at 8:45am and will be returning back roughly around 4:15pm. Please arrive at the skate park 15-30 minutes before departure. Kids will enjoy lunch among the rides and attractions of The Funplex. Campers will get to enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities including roller coasters, rides, a waterpark, laser tag, among other activities.  Lunch: 2 Slices of pizza

Dave and Busters- Bus Departs Gille Park at 9am   Fee: $41                          Buffet lunch: Cheese Flat Bread, Sliders, Pretzels, Chicken Bits, French Fries, Fruit and Unlimited Fountain Drinks  Please arrive to the Roller Hockey Rink 15-30 minutes before departure. The bus will be returning roughly around 3:30pm. Trip included a $20 game card, unlimited video games and buffet lunch
