Week 1 (July 27-31)
Magic Academy: Out of this World (7-12) 10am-1pm
Empower kids through the fun of magic to build confidence, learn through the power of STEAM, and embrace the benefits of social emotional learning (SEL). Keep a professional magic kit as you learn to defy gravity, teleport a robot, predict the future with a magic teleportation machine and more. Enjoy games, activities and performing time every day. All young magicians are invited to participate in the student show in the final hour of class. Take one week to sample magic or take both Magic Academy sessions to earn your blue magic wand.
Magic Explorers:: Monster Mash (ages 6-9) 1:30pm-4:30pm
Get ready to STEAM forward in the world of magic and embrace SEL as you learn the basic secrets of magic, enhance your communication skills and build self-confidence. Kids have fun designing their own tricks as they learn how to magically make a bird vanish, put monster back together, predict a chosen color, make a tissue appear out of thin air and more. We will learn through creative play, games, stories, songs and movement activities. Kids may perform in their own magic show on the last day.
Week 2 (August 3-7)
Magic Academy: Superhero Adventure: (ages 7-12) 10am-1pm
Empower kids through the fun of magic to build confidence, learn through the power of STEAM, and embrace the benefits of social emotional learning (SEL). Keep a professional magic kit as your young magician uses superpowers to magically match a hidden glove, discover your volunteer’s dinosaur, get tricky with a magic pen and open a portal to magic mail. Enjoy games, activities and performing time every day. All young magicians are invited to participate in the student show in the final hour of class. Take one week to sample magic or take both Magic Academy sessions to earn your Blue Magic Wand.
Magic Explorers:: Tricky Toys (ages 6-9) 1:30pm-4:30pm
Get ready to STEAM forward in the world of magic and embrace social emotional learning (SEL) as you learn the basic secrets of magic, enhance your communication skills and build self-confidence. Kids have fun coloring their own simple magic tricks. Design flying bunnies, decode an alien’s message, predict a volunteer’s chosen toy, make items appear from a magic carpet, make money smile, multiply cookies and more. We will learn through creative play, games, stories, songs and movement activities. Kids may perform in their own magic show on the last day.
