In this workshop, we will learn methods for painting paper and how to construct basic book structures. First, we will use hydrous watercolors, acrylic inks, crayons, and various tools to paint paper for our book covers. Next, we will construct basic books that require only folding and gluing.
Instructor will demonstrate all phases of this project as we go! You will leave the session with your completed books, which you may use for personal projects, greeting cards, or gifts.
This class is perfect for beginners, as well as those with book-making experience. All materials will be provided by the instructor. We will be using non-toxic, watercolors, acrylic inks, and watercolor crayons. Please bring an apron or wear old clothing for printing.
