Open to 5 to 7 year olds. This trip is open to all three parks. We will be leaving the parks at 11:15am and returning at 2:45pm. Campers attending this trip will eat lunch before boarding the bus. Campers will get a real life experience on a pirate ship!

Jr Lifeguard

This program is designed for participants who are already comfortable with their swimming ability. They will learn water safety and emergency response in the open water environment.

A copy of a Birth Certificate and Proof of Residency required to register. T-shirt is included.

This summer, give your child the adventure of a lifetime where curiosity meets the coast. Campers discover the wonders of the ocean through hands-on adventures, exciting field experiments, and meaningful real-world research. They explore local marine habitats, catch and release marine animals with their seine nets, test water quality, and contribute real data to ongoing Citizen Science projects. Engaging lessons on Beluga Whales, Tiger Sharks, Axolotls, Puffins, Upwelling, Marine Invertebrates, and more bring the ocean to life. At the Jersey Shore, paddleboarding continues to grow in popularity. Whether you sit, kneel or stand, this water-based sport is a cross between surfing and canoeing. Paddleboarding is a low-impact water sport that can help improve balance, coordination, endurance, and body strength. Instructors will help you find your balance and adjust your position for comfort. Some things to expect from this class include:

Learning how to safely set up the board in the lake

Learning how to enter and exit the board

Learning how to stand and kneel on the board

The inflatable paddleboard is the ultimate balancing platform for a full body workout, increasing strength and core stability, leading to improved proprioception and coordination.

Dates: Mondays July 6- August 17 Fee: $20 per class

Youth (8-13) : 3pm-4pm

Adult (14+): 4:30pm-5:30pm

Come sail with us for a relaxing, elegant lunch, as we cruise on the magnificent Toms River and Barnegat Bay for 3 hours. The captain will present a fascinating more extended narration, of the interesting history of this lovely area, as we pass elegant waterfront homes, beautiful properties, docks, yacht clubs and often even sailboat races. Enjoy a delicious meal, which features your choice of 6 entrees, complete from salad to dessert. *We are not able to provide a gluten-free bread or dessert, but you are welcome to bring your own.*
