Welcome to the Borough of Matawan Recreation Department page!
We have created this new page to inform you of the most recent recreation events, activities, and unique programs we provide during the year. Here you will find the most recent events and categories representing different interests, including those that call for registration. You must create an account to register for programs. Senior programs, Summer Recreation Programs, Canoe/Kayak Rentals, and Field/Room rentals require registration so be sure to complete your account setup to proceed. Once you have done so, you will discover how simple it is to navigate in and out of these categories and to register for a program you want.
To create your login and account, please follow these steps:
- Create an account by clicking "Sign Up" in the top right corner. Please sign up as an "individual" and not an organization.
- Verify your account via email
- Log in and add your family members to your account (family members include only family who resides in your home) When adding in your child's grade level, please add the grade they will be attending in the fall.
- View our programs/facilities and click "add to cart" to register/reserve
- Click on the shopping cart icon in the top right corner to check out
