Adult "Pick-Up" Basketball program.  Each night teams are formed by players in attendance.  Participation is free for Metuchen residents, ages 21+.  Program is coordinated by a volunteer representative of the Recreation Department.  Program is cancelled when school is not in session, schools are closed due to weather, or other evening activities in the school that warrants cancellation of the program.  League is "Non-Contact".  Excessive contact, foul/profane language, and poor sportsmanship are not tolerated and reasons for exclusion from the program.

NEW for Metuchen - Youth Lacrosse!!!  Clinics are designed for new laxxers or those with a little experience - we are growing the sport!!!!   

Limited loaner sticks are available for use during the sessions.  Mouthpieces are required of all children.  Protective eyewear is not required for these introductory sessions but will be mandatory for future sessions.

Coach Lucia is a Metuchen momma who played lacrosse at the Division I level at Bucknell University, serving as a two time captain and achieving All Patriot League Honors during her time there from 2013-2017. Lucia is currently the coach at Princeton Day School and has previously coached youth girls lacrosse in Hoboken and Sayreville, and is very excited to bring the spirit of the game to Metuchen!
