WHEN: Mondays and Saturdays • June - September • 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM

COST: $15 per person (registration required)

Pier Yoga on Oak Island is the perfect way to start your day, combining gentle movement with refreshing ocean air, all while using the pier’s slight incline. This unique class runs from June through September on Mondays and Saturdays. Please note that classes are weather dependent and may be canceled in case of inclement conditions. Don’t miss this opportunity to stretch, breathe, and rejuvenate with stunning ocean views!

Summer is coming to an end, help bring in Fall by crafting a beautifully decorated pumpkin! An artificial pumpkin, along with a variety of ribbon, leaves, and other embellishments will be provided.

The gym at Oak Island Recreation Center features a wide range of fitness equipment that is available to both Town of Oak Island residents and island visitors. Fitness opportunities range from cardio equipment, free weights, weight machines, and more! Welcomed by a friendly and enthusiastic staff, the gym is open for operation 6 days a week, making it the ideal island resource for those seeking to maintain a regular workout routine.
 

Hours:

Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Friday- 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Sunday: CLOSED

Residents Rates:

Daily: $5

Weekly:$17

Monthly: $25

Yearly: $250

NON-RESIDENTS Rates:

Daily: $10

Weekly: $35

Monthly:$ 45

Yearly: $450

  • Memberships for the gym do NOT include fitness classes.
  • Members must be 16 years of age or older. 16-17 year olds must have a parent of legal guardian sign an activity waiver in person at the Recreation Center prior to use of the gym at Oak Island Recreation Center. 
  • Just to note this is the Oak Island Recreation Fitness Facility, there is no pool available.

Rent Register Park Shelter

Rental approval can take up to 7 days. Please make sure to plan for that. 

Rental Cost: Residents $25 per hour, Non-Residents $50 per hour

Each rental has a $50 Refundable Deposit.

If you are a 501 c3 and upload your 501c3 paper during the reservation process you will receive 50% off the rental cost per hour. (this does not include the rental deposit)
