The Oak Island Farmers' & Artisans' Market is a great opportunity for the public to see and financially support the very best of Oak Island's local growers and crafters. Farmers and artisans alike can be found in this great showcase of baked goods, produce, handmade crafts, and artistic goods.  This market takes place on Monday mornings and runs from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM each market day.  

Located steps away from the Kevin Bell Skate Park, Pirate Ship Playground, Oak Island Splash Pad, and just across the street from the beach; it's the perfect outing for the entire family. Come join this new, monthly crafting class offered at the Oak Island Recreation Center. Each month will feature a different craft to take home, or learning a new skill to use on crafts.

Get ready for fall by creating a decorated pumpkin for your home. Come learn several bow making techniques and embellish a pumpkin with your choice of a variety of ribbons, greenery, and other embellishments.
