Excursion - Wilmington Railroad Museum

Come and join Oak Island Recreation as we travel out to the Wilmington Railroad Museum, full of rich history and awesome displays. Preserving the history of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad and Southeastern American railroading since 1979, enjoy interactive displays and model trains that are fun and educational for all ages. We will be stopping to eat prior to visiting the museum at Bagels on Pointe in Downtown Wilmington, where participants are able to purchase their own wonderful bagel creations. The excursion will take place from 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with the possibility of arriving back earlier depending on time spent in the museum.

This is a dance for Fathers and Daughters. Spend some time with your little girl and bring her to this magical dance. The Oak Island Recreation Center will have light refreshments and great music to boogie to. So come out and enjoy this with your daughter. The price is per father- daughter couple. Join in on this wonderful class where this month, participants will learn to make a Holiday Candle Centerpiece. This will be a fresh floral arrangement. Participants will need to bring shears or scissors to cut flowers. Additional detailed list of supplies will be e-mailed upon registration.
